Try Me is one of the horses that has helped define what BTB Stud is about, and where the program is heading.
Acquired as a promising three-year-old, Try Me was approved through the Bruksprov stallion testing in Sweden, receiving premier status within the SWB studbook. In the seasons that followed, he covered close to 200 mares while building a sport record of his own, winning qualifier rounds and finishing third in the Breeders Stallion Trophy at Flyinge.
Once the breeding season closed, Try Me's international career began. Under Alexander Zetterman, he stepped up to the international stage, completing his seven-year-old season with 1.35m results across European competition.
He has since been sold and exported to the United States, where his sporting career continues. A horse like Try Me reflects the philosophy that guides BTB Stud, to develop horses with both the quality for the breeding shed and the talent to carry through to the international sport. Each chapter builds the next.
